Genuine USA made Viton O-rings for superior resistance to ULSD and Biodiesel. 

WARNING: These Viton O-rings are precision seals—handle carefully to avoid leaks or repeats!

Common damage causes:
  • Twisting or nicking during insertion: Use a non-sharp tool (plastic pick, wooden dowel, or Q-tip) to seat them—never metal screwdrivers that can cut the edge.
  • Dry installation: Always lubricate generously with clean diesel/gas fuel, silicone grease, or assembly lube (NOT petroleum jelly if concerned about swelling—fuel is best). Dry rings can tear, bunch, or roll out of the groove.
  • Overstretching: Don't stretch them excessively to fit; roll them gently into place. If it feels too tight, double-check groove cleanliness (old debris/spacer issues common).
  • Wrong order/position: Some fittings have a white nylon spacer between two O-rings—install rear O-ring first, then spacer, then front O-ring. Push firmly but straight to seat fully (use a dowel to press evenly).
  • Reassembly force: When reconnecting lines, push straight and evenly—twisting or angled force can pinch/roll the O-rings. Fully seat until the clip snaps securely.
  • Inspection tip: After install, cycle the key (prime pump) and check for leaks before driving. If it weeps, disassemble and re-lube/re-seat.
