Rough running, poor performance, hard hot starts could be due to a faulty or worn IPR. Located on the back of the High Pressure Oil Pump (HPOP), this unit requires a special socket for removal and installation. It does not require any LocTite or sealant as the o-ring seals the unit to the pump.
