Genuine Bosch OEM Fuel Pump
99 - 03 Ford 7.3L Chassis Mounted Fuel Pump
Genuine OEM Bosch Replacement Electric Fuel pump for the 1999 - 2003 Ford 7.3L diesel trucks and Vans. Simply remove the old pump from the bracket, unclip the inlet disconnect by pulling the blue lock tab from the hose end, use a fuel line disconnect tool on the outlet fitting and replace the pump.
This is the exact same pump that is installed by Ford when the truck was built but being a replacement pump, it does not come with the factory mounting bracket, insulating cover or outlet fitting, simply re-use these original parts from your pump.
Warning: When tightening the small terminal lugs, only tighten enough to seat the nut on the lock washer. If the lug is overtightened, the lug will shear off. Broken terminals will not be waranteed.
Warning to Early 1999 owners:
You may need this fitting if you have one of the original early 1999 fuel pumps as they have a smaller thread outlet than these newer model pumps. Check to see that the threads on the fitting are a 10mm fine pitch thread (9.9mm - 9.8mm as measured with calipers). If your fitting is smaller that this, include the new fuel outlet fitting with your order.
